Privacy

This site is run by Liz Agemo, based in Polokwane, South Africa. We handle your personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Questions go to coach.lizagemo@gmail.com.

When you place an order: your name, email address, mobile number, chosen Pudo locker, the books you bought and any note you add.

When you send an enquiry: your name, email address, the WhatsApp number if you add one, and your message.

When you join Liz’s list: your email address, and your first name and WhatsApp number if you give them. If you join from “Find my next step”, we also keep the two answers you chose (where you are, and what’s stuck), so Liz can send what’s useful to you.

When you leave a review: your star rating, what you wrote and the name you choose to show, linked to your order so each book is reviewed once. Liz reads every review before it goes on the site, and only shows it if you ticked the box to say she can.

We don’t see or store card or banking details. Payments are handled entirely by Paystack on their own secure pages.

To fulfil your order (your receipt, eBook download links, delivery and anything about your order), to reply to your enquiry, and, only if you’ve joined and confirmed, to send Liz’s tips and news. A few days after you buy, we send one email asking how you’re finding the book, with a link to review it. Ignore it and we won’t ask again. We don’t sell your information or send marketing without your permission.

You only join if you ask to: by signing up, or by ticking the box at checkout or on an enquiry form (it’s never ticked for you). We then email you a link, and you’re only on the list once you confirm. Sign-ups that aren’t confirmed are deleted after 30 days.

Liz sends tips and news now and then by email, and by WhatsApp if you gave your number for that. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or you can ask us. We keep a record of when you joined and the words you agreed to, and if you leave we keep your email address marked as unsubscribed so you aren’t added again by mistake. Ask us and we’ll delete it entirely.

Paystack processes payments. Our email provider sends order emails and list emails. Pudo (The Courier Guy) receives your name, phone number and chosen locker for paperback orders. Our hosting and database providers run this site and store its records.

If you message Liz on WhatsApp, that conversation is handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy.

This site doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Your bag is saved in your own browser so it’s still there when you come back.

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how it’s used. Email us and we’ll respond promptly. You may also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
